Marriage and Family Therapist Intern

Elgin & Sycamore offices and online via Telehealth

I believe we all have a desire to be understood. Whether we are introverts or extroverts, we are all relational people. Understanding connects us to each other and builds relationships. In therapy, you are the expert on your own life. I want to join you in coping with the challenges you face. I focus on building a safe environment for my clients through listening and a posture of curiosity.

I seek to work with clients who want to gain a deeper understanding of themselves through emotional awareness. When working with couples, I walk with clients as they deepen their understanding of themselves and their partner through learning about their emotions.

Currently, I’m enrolled in the marriage and family therapy program at Wheaton College. I have focused on learning about internal family systems and emotionally focused therapy.
