I believe that we are always healing and already whole. I see therapy as a tool to help restore your view of yourself and others. As someone passionate about making mental health services affordable and accessible for everyone, I understand how healing receiving clinical services can be. I am committed to my clients, and I take joy in discovering and calling attention to your strengths, as well as walking alongside you on your journey to living your life more fully.
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Trinity Christian College and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College in addition to a Trauma Certificate. I have previous experience working at a community-based practice with children, teens, young adults, and adults. I am most passionate about working with individuals who face struggles related to stress, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, and self-esteem.
I understand that therapy does not look the same for everyone, and I believe everyone has different needs. I aim to implement customized and practical care that employs evidence-based and experiential approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). I appreciate using all sorts of interventions with clients beyond just talk therapy, including play therapy, artistic interventions, and the enneagram.
