Hi, I’m Joe—a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed/Ordained Minister with over 20 years of experience in Christian ministry, mental health counseling, and adult education. I’m passionate about walking with individuals through life’s challenges, integrating clinically sound, evidence-based practices with the timeless hope and truth found in God’s Word.
My approach to counseling is grounded in compassion, spiritual discernment, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. Over the years, I’ve served in various roles—including outpatient therapist, addiction therapist, program manager, and pastor of counseling—supporting adults, teens, seniors, and families facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.
I’ve had the privilege of working in hospitals, churches, mental health clinics, and college campuses. My work often focuses on areas such as anxiety, grief, life transitions, depression, spiritual struggles, and emotional burnout. I’m also certified in mindfulness-informed care, therapeutic drumming, and Moral Reconation Therapy, and I use these tools to help clients reconnect with their purpose, goals, and values.
As both a counselor and a pastor, I believe that true wellness involves caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. My goal is to create a safe and sacred space where you can heal, grow, and move forward with renewed faith and clarity. I consider it a privilege to walk with you on your journey.
