Congratulations on taking a courageous step toward your own wellness—you are considering
counseling!
I’m Elizabeth “Ellie” Vischer. Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and intimidating, and I would be honored to walk alongside you through both moments of joy and seasons of struggle. I know firsthand how meaningful and challenging this process can be, and I deeply believe that everyone can benefit
from a season of counseling. My goal is to create a space of emotional safety and trust where
you can feel known, accepted, and empowered to grow.
As a holistic counselor, I work to integrate approaches that best fit each unique individual. You
are so much more than a diagnosis or problem to solve—you are a whole person with a story
that deserves to be heard. I believe that even our deepest wounds can become places of
transformation, leading to healing, courage, and renewed hope.
I am trained to work with clients of all ages, though I hold a special place in my heart for young
women learning to understand themselves and the world around them. I value authenticity and
compassion and strive to create a therapeutic space that feels grounding, safe, and restorative.
My hope is that our work together will help you connect with your inner strength, rediscover your
voice, and move toward greater balance and wellness.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and Licensed Mental Health
Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from
Wheaton College and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Taylor University. Outside of the
counseling room, I enjoy coffee, caring for houseplants, spending time with family and friends,
and taking long walks outdoors. For clients who wish to integrate faith into the counseling
process, I am open to including this as a source of grounding, comfort, and peace throughout
our work together.
It is an honor and privilege to be invited into your story and to walk with you on your journey
toward healing, hope, and wholeness.
