Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern

Elgin and West Dundee locations and online via Telehealth

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Judson University. My background in case management, primarily working with children and teens, has taught me the importance of meeting people where they are and recognizing that everyone’s journey is unique.

I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming or even a little scary. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel supported as you learn more about yourself and navigate challenges as they come up. I believe that healing and growth happen through authentic relationships, and I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, valued, and accepted.

My approach to counseling is trauma-informed and person-centered, meaning I work collaboratively with clients and honor their experiences, strengths, and goals. For clients who desire it, I also welcome the integration of faith into the counseling process, recognizing that spiritual beliefs can be an important source of strength, hope, and healing. I respect each client’s individual values and work to incorporate faith in a way that feels meaningful and supportive to them. I am here to walk alongside you as you explore, heal, and grow.

When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy doing puzzles, getting creative with crafts, and spending time outdoors walking or running with my friends. These activities help me recharge and remind me of the importance of fun, curiosity, and self-care.
