JASON LOWE, MA LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Elgin & Sycamore offices and online via Telehealth

Three overarching beliefs shape my approach to the counseling process. They are, 1. People are unique, 2. Relationships are complicated, and 3. Life is hard. This leads me to an approach that focuses on meeting you where you are with dignity, respect, and curiosity. I want to listen to you, sit quietly with you, and get to know you. I want to hear your story and explore together not only what is difficult in your life, but also what is beautiful and strong…as difficult as it may be to recognize or believe.

After many decades of providing servant-leadership and care to people of all ages and
backgrounds, I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Judson
University, with special focus given to complex-trauma, ADHD, and self-esteem. Other special
interests include relationship challenges, conflict resolution, assertive communication, and
boundaries.

Whether you are 10 years old or 90, dealing with anxiety or depressed feelings, having relationship
issues, trying to manage grief or childhood hurts, I’d be honored to journey with you, helping you
identify ways you would like to grow. I’ve experienced the power of counseling as a client
and as a counselor. I look forward to experiencing that power together!
