Sara is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College, IL.  She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate through life’s challenges. Among her areas of experience are anxiety, grief, relational struggles, infertility, foster and adoption, parenting skills, and communication. She is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental. 

Sara believes in safety first and strives to maintain a healthy and therapeutic environment conducive to healing. Her approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive, encouraging clients to be in control of their own narrative, and facilitates identifying needs, and setting goals.  She utilizes various modalities such as mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and family systems in her work, always in keeping with the best interest of the client. Sara’s goals are to help people work towards healthier functioning, experience meaningful relationships; and to promote growth in individuals so they can blossom and live their fullest life. Sara is happy to integrate faith and spirituality into treatment.

Her hobbies include spending time with family, watching movies, and traveling. She enjoys cooking and a weekly Bible study with her local women’s group.
